Joker Clooney launches film gala

George Clooney on playing Fantastic Mr Fox

Stars of Fantastic Mr Fox, including George Clooney and Bill Murray, have walked the red carpet as the movie launched the London Film Festival.

But Meryl Streep, who voices Mrs Fox in the film version of Roald Dahl's book, stayed in the US because she has flu.

Clooney signed autographs for fans in Leicester Square, accompanied by his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

Earlier he was asked about his plans to settle down, and joked that he intended to "adopt Brad Pitt's kids".

'First book'

Wednesday's gala screening, also attended by actor David Morrissey, supermodel Cindy Crawford, presenter Jonathan Ross and film director Gurinder Chada, launched the 53rd London Film Festival.

Fantastic Mr Fox tells the tale of a fox who decides to go back to his old thieving ways with disastrous consequences.

Stars of stage and screen at the premiere of Fantastic Mr Fox

Director Wes Anderson, 40, whose previous films include The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, said: "This was actually the first book I ever personally owned, which was officially my property."

"It introduced me to Roald Dahl's books in general," he continued. "It made a big impression on me."

A modest Anderson said the voices of Clooney and Streep, among others, had been the real driving forces behind the film, which was made using stop-motion animation.

"One thing I learned during the course of the movie was how much the voices of these actors give to the animators to work with.

"You record the voices first and the animators spend all their time animating these puppets, but their inspirations come from these moments with these actors."

Elisabetta Canalise and George ClooneyIt's sort of made for grown-ups and its also made for kids and you never know how that playsGeorge Clooney on Fantastic Mr Fox

Clooney, 48, said he had doubts about who would watch the film.

"I'm not sure who's gonna see it - it's sort of made for grown-ups and it's also made for kids and you never know how that plays".

"Wes said, 'don't worry about it, let's just go make movie and have some fun' and I think that's a great way to approach making a film."

Throughout the press conference, Clooney was forced to bat away questions about his personal life.

Asked whether he thought the line of questioning was inspired by his decision to play characters "that need to find responsibility", the star replied: "Thank you for that question and I will now have to consider the other jobs. I was going to play Peter Pan."

He added: "I don't have an answer - obviously."

Biggest laughs

And asked if the relationship between Mr Fox and his son, Ash, in the film had made him feel "broody", Clooney turned to co-star Jason Schwartzman, 29, and joked: "Do you know, just having Jason here next to me, I feel like a father."

But it was Lost In Translation star Murray who raised the biggest laughs.

That line, I put everything into it and I hope that when people see the film they'll be able to sense the preparation and the pain that went into doing itJarvis Cocker on his one line in Fantastic Mr Fox

When Anderson was asked why the film's human characters were the only ones with British accents, Murray chipped in "because they're the bad guys".

And talking about a meeting with Roald Dahl's widow, Felicity, twice-divorced Murray said: "She's a wonderful, wonderful woman and if I was going to remarry I'd take a chance with her."

But former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker - who voices one solitary line as a banjo-playing musician - was not to be outdone in the comedy stakes.

"That line, I put everything into it and I hope that when people see the film they'll be able to sense the preparation and the pain that went into doing it."

The Marshall Tucker Band - Blue Ridge Mountain Sky

It's a lonesome road
And a hard way to live
But it's the only life that I know
I met some people, I traveled around
But home's always the best place to go

It's a lonesome feeling in my mind
A feeling that I can't leave behind
Carolina's where I'm at, and
I'll always hang my hat
Under those Blue Ridge Mountain skies

I got me a woman back home
She gave me a baby, too
And she stands by my loving side and
Does anything I ask her to

It's a lonesome feeling in my mind
A feeling I can't seem to leave behind
Carolina's where I'm at, and
I'll always hang my hat
Under those Blue Ridge Mountain skies

There's an old man, sittin' in a rockin' chair
He's got the best beagle dog in the county I've been told
But his shotgun done got too rusty
That 'ole beagle dog he done grown a little too old
As he stares up into heaven, I'm sure I know the reason why
He's thinking about that promised land in them Blue Ridge Mountain skies

It's a lonesome feeling in my mind
A feeling I can't seem to leave behind
Carolina's where I'm at, and
I'll always hang my hat
Under those Blue Ridge Mountain skies

Korpiklaani - Wooden Pints

There's men, underground
Who have never seen the sun
But they really know how to party
Little men from underground
Who have never seen the sun
But they really know how to party

They rise their wooden pints and they yoik and sing
And they fight and dance 'till the morning (x2)

And they fight and dance 'till the morning (x2)

Tables full, reindeer meat
And the camp fire shines and the brick walls are full of candles
Tables full, wooden pints
They don't care about their sins
They just wanna get drunk and party

They rise their wooden pints and they yoik and sing
And they fight and dance 'till the morning (x2)

And they fight and dance 'till the morning (x2)

Long war is now past
Only good men have lasted
They need women, meat, beer and rum
Fight battle full of blood no thoughts about god they just slaughtered killed and tormented

They rise their wooden pints and they yoik and sing
And they fight and dance 'till the morning (x2)

Red-carpet kids

Sobahle MkhabaseEleven-year-old Sobahle Mkhabase has a lead roleBy Mpho LakajeBBC News, Durban

It is an inspirational tale with a cast of untrained child actors from humble backgrounds. Comparisons with Slumdog Millionaire are inevitable, but the film Izulu Lami (My Secret Sky) is all about South Africa.

It is a story of resilience. It follows the lives of two young children who are orphaned when their mother dies of a mystery illness.

The children decide to leave their village in rural Kwa-Zulu Natal for Durban, where they plan to sell the only item of value left by their mother, a well-decorated African mat.

While she was alive their mother would make trips to the city to sell her handmade carpets. This was their only means of survival.

Knowing that they will be wealthy if they successfully put their mother's carpet on the market, they stop at nothing to make their dream come true.

They don't have boundaries, they don't put stops like adultsDirector Madodo Ncayiyana

They arrive in a buzzing Durban which presents adversities and forces them down the path of self-discovery.

The movie is performed by a cast of children with no previous acting experience.

"The fulfilling thing is that they are willing to learn," says director Madodo Ncayiyana.

"They don't have boundaries, they don't put stops like adults."

Izulu Lami was filmed in the city and humble rural villages of Kwa-Zulu Natal, where all the actors and the director come from.

'Unexpected' adulation

Although IsiZulu is the dominant language in the film, this did not stop it from wowing audiences in Japan and Spain - albeit with the aid of subtitles.

Eleven-year-old Sobahle MkhabaseI'm proud of myself because I never thought I had such abilities, I thank God for the talents He has blessed me withSobahle Mkhabase

It launched officially at the annual Durban International Film Festival in July and goes on general release later this month.

South Africa's film industry has grown over the past 10 years, with some films receiving international acclaim.

Films such as Tsotsi, which won an Academy award in 2006 for Best International film, Yesterday which received the country's first Oscar nomination in 2005 and u-Carmen eKhayelitsha which received an award for Best film at the Berlin Film festival in 2005, are just some of the country's most well-received films.

Movie critics say the strength of this movie lies in the performances and innocence of the youngsters as well as its emotional storyline.

Eleven-year-old Sobahle Mkhabase who plays one of the lead roles says she is "surprised by the achievements of the movie".

"I really didn't expect all of this," she beams.

The creators say it was challenging for the children to portray scenes that they have never gone through in real life, such as a near rape situation.

"I'm proud of myself because I never thought I had such abilities. I thank God for the talents He has blessed me with," adds an eloquent Miss Mkhabase.

'Raw acting'

Another member of the cast, 13-year-old Sizwe Xaba, says he is "trying to find ways of dealing with my overnight fame".

"I realise that I am famous at an early age but I think I'll be able to handle it. I never knew I would reach this level but I'm happy to find myself here," he says.

Durban residents were treated to a premiere of the movie recently.

Even though many complained about Izulu Lami's slow start, the movie was received warmly.

"I quite enjoyed it. Raw cinematography, raw acting but great story and it taps into your emotions," explained one of the moviegoers at the film's premiere.

Another one described it as "intriguing".

The strides made by the local industry show that there is a growing interest in South African storytelling both locally and abroad.

Price and Andre 'get rival shows'

Peter Andre and Katie PricePeter Andre and Katie Price have two children together

Katie Price and Peter Andre are in talks for rival reality shows with ITV, which will follow them throughout their separation, according to reports.

The couple, who met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, announced their split last month.

A spokeswoman for Andre said filming for his new show was already under way.

Audiences for the couple's joint ITV2 show grew by 68% when they announced their separation after three-and-a-half years of marriage.

Katie and Peter: Stateside, which followed the couple's move to the US, is still being shown on ITV2.

'Absolutely amazing'

Andre attended the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Macau, China at the end of last week, where he was followed by a camera crew.

His spokeswoman Claire Powell said: "We're already filming the show, I've just followed Peter to Macau in China which was absolutely amazing.

"It did him the world of good, and it was so nice to see him smile again."

Price's spokeswoman, Diana Colbert, told the BBC: "Katie hasn't signed a new contract. It is all open to finalising."

A spokesman for ITV said he could not confirm either series. "We are talking to both of them about future plans," he added.

Fly-on-the-wall

The celebrity couple have two children together - Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, who is nearly two.

Price has another son, six-year-old Harvey, from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.

The former glamour model, 30, and pop star, 36, have made several fly-on-the-wall TV shows since 2007.

Filming for the latest series finished only recently. In one episode, the pair were seen having a furious argument after Price claimed she was the main breadwinner in their marriage.

In the ensuing row, she said to Andre: "You're an old singer that no one knows about. I'm miserable with you."

Andre retaliated by telling the TV crew: "I'm so glad you filmed this, guys. When you show it back, you'll see what kind of a stupid, arrogant, miserable cow she is."

Chicago Simphony Orchestra - Allegro

Giuseppe Tartini: Concert in D - Allegro - Andante

French horns tend to have 3 rotary valves and a rotary trigger >> they also tend to be considerably larger in size, and played of to the side. Also, last I checked the majority of French horns are played with the left hand. That, my friend, is a piccolo trumpet. It has a fourth valve to allow for a slightly more trumpet like range going down. Its like a trumpet but smaller to help ad space between partials and to give the sound a more brilliant color.

Yoko Ono enjoys rare music honour

Yoko OnoYoko Ono was praised as a 'huge influence on modern music'

John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has received a lifetime achievement honour at the Mojo magazine awards in London, the first music prize of her career.

Ono, more used to flak from Beatles fans who thought her main achievement was to cause the band to split, thanked Mojo for their "courageous" decision.

With Lennon and on her own, she has made two dozen albums in 41 years.

"It's really great that I went on stage and people were very warm towards me, I didn't expect that," she said.

After picking up the accolade, she added: "For the longest time I never expected people to be so warm when I get on stage."

Asked what her late husband would have made of the award, Ono replied: "He would have said, 'I told you so, man.'

"He was the only person who was really believing and promoting my work. Without that I might have been pretty discouraged."

'Terrible press'

Ono, 76, received support from other musicians at the ceremony.

Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr said she deserved the award because she had "an awful lot of utterly terrible press that was completely uninformed and out of control for no reason".

"But also her records are pretty great," he said, "she didn't really need to be a Beatle wife.

"She was doing some pretty good stuff as it was, and I think she's fantastic."

Blur at the Mojo AwardsThe four members of Blur were back together before their looming live gigs

Mark Ronson, who has produced Amy Winehouse and Duran Duran, will perform as part of the Plastic Ono Band at the Meltdown festival in London on Sunday.

He said: "I'm a fan of hers. All those early Plastic Ono recordings are just incredible."

Mojo editor Phil Alexander, who hosted the event, praised Ono as "a huge influence on modern music".

He said: "She may have been married to one of the most famous men in the world, but she also helped change music as we know it in her own right.

"First, by introducing avant-garde sensibilities to her husband but, just as significantly, by continuing to push the boundaries of what was deemed the norm way after that."

Other acts honoured by Mojo included Fleet Foxes, who were named best live act, and Elbow, who won best song for One Day Like This.

Paul Weller beat both of those acts to the prize for best album.

The winners of five competitive categories were voted for by readers and another 14 honorary prizes were handed out.

Manic Street PreachersManic Street Preachers were presented with the maverick award

Blur, making their first public appearance together ahead of their forthcoming reunion gigs, collected the inspiration award.

The Manic Street Preachers won the maverick award and bassist Nicky Wire said it was an achievement to have spent 20 years signed to the same major label and still be regarded mavericks.

Johnny Marr said he was "very honoured" to receive the trophy for classic songwriter from former Suede guitarist and Duffy producer Bernard Butler.

Mott the Hoople entered the Mojo Hall of Fame, Joy Division won the vision award and the Pretty Things picked up the hero award. Phil Lynott, the late lead singer of 1970s rock gods Thin Lizzy, won the icon award.

Island Records founder Chris Blackwell was decorated with the Mojo Medal, rock 'n' roll pioneer Joe Brown was recognised for his outstanding contribution to music and The Zombies received the classic album award.

Brainbox

A new science show, which will draw inevitable comparisons to Tomorrow's World, is due to start next month on BBC One.

Bang Goes The Theory will explore the science that affects our everyday lives, and the BBC hopes it will engage the whole family.

Dallas Campbell, Jem Stansfield and Dr Yan Wong will front the 10-part series along with former Top Of The Pops host Liz Bonnin, who explains why this role is her dream job.

Liz BonninLiz Bonnin has a degree in bio-chemistry

For some, science was a boring subject at school, what would you say to that?

I think the fact that there are people who shy away from science is a shame.

Some people have more of a liking to it than others, but the thing about is we all under estimate how big a role science has to play in the world around us.

But I think that is our job on the show - to communicate that. I think there will be some things that you'll be surprised about, at how things work.

We will cover everything from the science of smell to why cows burp more than they fart.

Tell us a bit more about the show.

It's a new science magazine show that's going to go out at 1930 BST (1830GMT) on BBC One starting in July.

It's basically looking at the science that makes the world go round and how technology does the amazing things it does.

It's four presenters getting quite hands on with the subjects and hopefully making people more interested with the science around us.

Being a science show, it will inevitably be compared to Tomorrow's World, but how does it differ?

It's a more contemporary take on science, because science has changed since the days of Tomorrow's World.

The way we look at science and the way we want to learn about science is different as well, so I think it's a much more hands on approach.

The presenters are trying to push the boundaries. It's a very different style, but it's still a magazine science show that's bringing science to the families.

We want kids and their parents and their grandparents to watch this.

What sort of things will you be covering?

I am about to go in a rescue submarine in Norway, a state-of-the-art tiny submarine, to find out how it works and why it doesn't collapse under an incredible amount of pressure.

Jem is building incredible things like a water-powered jetpack that will get him flying into the air.

Dallas has been down deep into mines, to find out what dark matter is all about.

We've also brain scanned the boys in a functional brain-scanning MRI scanner to see what parts of their brains work better than others. It's really good, they get very competitive, it's very funny.

What makes you the perfect presenter for this show?

I have a degree in bio-chemistry and I have just completed a masters degree in wild animal biology and conservation.

It's good for this because I can mix up my background, but really we've all been thrown into the deep end looking at all aspects of science and how it works, so we're not sticking to our area of expertise.

It's my dream job. I'm now combining presenting, which is what I love, with my passion which happens to be science, so yes I have to pinch myself.

Eavis' Glasto reaction

Emily discusses leaked line-up, Springsteen negotiations and Park stage surprise
26 May 2009 - Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis says there was a 'bit of panic' at Worthy Farm when an incorrect line-up was leaked 12 hours early.Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur are headlining this year's event, as well as sets from The Prodigy, Kasabian, Bloc Party and Fleet Foxes. (See full line-up)

Eavis also discussed a document that was sent to 'the boss' to persuade him to perform at his first Glastonbury.

The event from 24-28 June will also see a top secret Park Stage appearance.

You've managed to book Bruce Springsteen for the Pyramid stage. There must have been some pretty protracted negotiations?

It's been our mission for quite a long time to get Bruce. I thought it was quite unlikely, especially when the agent said, 'Glaston-what?'. We put together a document for him and spoke to his people a lot and they are really up for it.Did you want to get him because his principles chime with yours?

You wouldn't draw any comparisons between Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen but both of them are massive Barack Obama supporters, so politically it's sound with us, all of our ideas and the way that we think about things. All of his campaigning sits with us really well.

What did you put in that document that managed to persuade Springsteen to come?

He's never done a festival before so we didn't expect him to know much about it. It included quotes from lots of different people, musicians who have played.

It's quite hard to understand why you should play a festival for not much money when you're being offered quite a lot to go elsewhere. We put together some information and said this is what happens, this is all the money that goes to charity. Pretty quickly he said: 'Yes'.  It's amazing.

You've also got Neil Young and Blur headlining. Was this a reaction to the controversy of last year over Jay-Z because it's all about the veterans of rock this year?

No. Bruce and Neil are amazing artists. The fact that they have heritage and have been going a bit longer than other bands is irrelevant. There's no way we could have turned one down.

We don't think of the line-up like that. There was a lot of misunderstanding about the way we book bands here. We just trust our instincts quite a lot of the time and go with what is right and those were both around this year and possibilities so we went: 'Yeah, amazing'.The line-up came out earlier than we expected. Did chaos ensue at Worthy Farm when the embargo was broken? On something of this scale there's crisis every five minutes; that's Michael's (Festival founder Michael Eavis) line. So there was a bit of panic rippling through the air. However, we quickly got the right line-up on our website - because the actual line-up that was out was incorrect - and managed to speak to all our partners to make sure they got the right one. What it is about Glastonbury that makes the whole line-up speculation such a hot topic? It's become a bit of a national pastime to discuss and speculate about it. I think it's fun speculation and I think the reason we don't release it for ages is great because people come for the right reasons. Besides the headliners, there is so much going on and that's the point we're making.People come because they want to go and see all the amazing theatre and circus and go to the Green Fields, Trash City, Shangri La, everything else. Then we announce the line-up and it's the cherry on top, or not, according to how you feel about it.What are you looking forward to seeing?Obviously the headliners, but there's a lot of other stuff I'm really excited about; The Specials, I think Lily Allen will have a big moment on the Friday, Eagles Of Death Metal and Animal Collective on the Park stage. There's a really top surprise on the Park which will definitely not come out because otherwise we'd have a health and safety issue. You can start guessing. When are we going allowed to find out about it?I don't think it will ever be announced. It will just happen for those people that happen to be there, hopefully for the people that are fans of the band.Emily Eavis was speaking to BBC 6 Music's Music Week presenter Julie Cullen from the Glastonbury site today.  Hear more in the Music Week on Sunday from 1pm GMT.

William Byrd - Miserere (I)

William Byrd - Miserere 1 & 2

The clavichord player bends the pitch of a note by varying the pressure he applies to the key.Niether mean tone nor "well-tempered" would make such a tonal piece sound "strange" or out of tune. Mean tone would actually make it sound purer. The advantage of mean tone is purer 3rds, 6ths, 4ths and 5ths. The disadvantage is that certain intervals will sound out of tune in remote keys (more than 2 or 3 sharps or flats). But there are no remote keys in these pieces.

Taylor Swift - The Best Day

Taylor Swift - The Best Day

Lyrics :

I?m five years old
It?s getting cold
I?ve got
A big coat on
I hear your laugh
And look up smiling at you
And run and run
At the pumpkin patch
The tractor riding on
The sky is gold
I hug your legs and fall asleep
The whole way home
I don?t know why all the trees change in the fall
I know that you?re not scared of anything at all
Don?t know if Snow White?s house is near or far away
But I know that I had the best day
With you today
I?m thirteen now
And don?t know how my friends
Could be so mean
I come home crying and
You hold me tight
And grab the keys
And you drive and drive
Until we?ve found a town
Far enough away
And we talk and window-shop
Until I?ve forgotten all their names
I don?t know who I?m gonna talk to
Now at school
I know I?m laughing on the car ride home with you
Don?t know how long it?s gonna take to feel okay
But I know I had the best day
With you today
I have an excellent father
His strength is making me stronger
God smiles on my little brother
Inside and out
He?s better than I am.
I grew up in a pretty house
And I had space to run
And I had the best days with you
There is a video
I found from back when I was three
You set up a paint set in the kitchen
And you?re talking to me
It?s the age of princesses and pirate ships
And the seven dwarves
Daddy?s smart
And you?re the prettiest lady in the whole wide world
Now I know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you were on my side
Even when I was wrong
And I love you for giving me your eyes
Staying back and watching me shine
And I didn?t know if you knew
So I?m taking this chance to say
That I had the best day
With you today
----
Tengo 5 a?os y esta refrescando
tengo mi abrigo puesto
te escucho reir y te miro sonriendo
corro y corro
revise la calabaza y pase el tractor
mira ahora, el cielo esta dorado
abrazo tus piernas y me duermo
camino a casa
llego a casa llorando y me abrazas fuerte
y me hablas
quedandote atras y mirandome brillas
no sabia si lo sabias
asi que aprovecho esta oportunidad para decir
tuve el mejor dia
contigo, hoy :)

You Tube Expands

Site announces changes to benefit artists
16 May 2009 - Patrick Walker, the Head of Video Partnerships at You Tube, has announced plans for the site's expansion, in a keynote speech at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

This comes after all premium music clips on You Tube were blocked following a row with the PRS over artist royalties.

Speaking to 6 Music reporter Jo Youle in Brighton, Patrick said You Tube were looking for new ways for artists to make money through the use of their music on the site.

"We're looking at lots of different ways for artists, labels and different content creators, monetise their content." he said.

"One is through the content they upload directly. We can run advertisements against that. The other is through links that send people off to download tracks through ITunes or Amazon. So we're helping drive off-line sales. And then we're also developing technology that will identify commercial music in user submitted videos.

"The rights owner can determine what they want to do with that video and they can block it or monetise it. The vast majority are monetising it, running advertisements against user submitted videos that include their rights."

However, Patrick believes it is up to the artists and labels to accept that the way people use their music is getting more and more unconventional. He was keen that You Tube still benefitted users, allowing them to be creative with the content:

"They [labels and artists] are really embracing user behaviour. They are beginning to understand that the world has changed. It's not just about consumption of music, it's about all kinds of activity around music - using music to colour your own videos, creating mash-ups and different creative works. And so we're working hard with the industry, taking the business models to the place where the users are most active."

In the UK there is still a block on premium music clips while You Tube negotiate artists fees with the PRS. Patrick explained where they were up to with negotiations:

"With the labels everything is great. We're working very hard to come to an arrangement with PRS and we won't strike a deal unless it makes economic sense. They've been a good partner in the negotiations and we're trying to come up with something that makes sense for everyone involved. Ultimately no-one wins if the videos stay off the service, so we're trying to come up with a win win scenario."

Katatonia - Right Into The Bliss

by a black road
giving a brief smile
something's on the way
forgotten for a while
and you try to speak this
without a voice down by a black road
we try to forget and try to make it through

someday we'll go
further from this right into the bliss
some night we'll try
to leave this place for another

they keep pushing me
so far from every chance
makes it so much harder
for me to carry on
so I try to speak this
without a thought down by a black road
we try to forget and try to make it through

Queen - Breakthru

When love breaks up
When the dawn light wakes up
A new life is born
Somehow I have to make this final breakthru
Now

I wake up
Feel just fine
Your face
Fills my mind

I get religion quick
'Cause you're looking divine
Honey you're touching something
You're touchin' me

I'm under your thumb
Under your spell
Can't you see?

If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthru
Oh, yeah

Breakthru - These barriers of pain
Breakthru - Yeah, to the sunshine from the rain
Make my feelings known towards you
Turn my heart inside and out for you now
Somehow I have to make this final breakthru
Now

Your smile
Speaks books to me
I break up
With each and every one of your looks at me

Honey you're starting something
Deep inside of me
Honey you're sparking something
This fire in me

I'm outta control
I wanna rush headlong
Into this ecstasy

If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthru

If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthru
Oh, yeah

Breakthru
Breakthru
Break
Hey

If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthru

If I could only reach you
If I could make you smile
If I could only reach you
That would really be a breakthru

Circle Takes The Square - A Crater To Cough In

This path that we walk upon is the collection of points that the rain has drawn.
The rhythm section of the storm.
By the moonlight to the gateposts of the forest,
in the snow light, we are bound for the portal of the pines.
Grey as famine, on this path against our will by our main sails we're bound to the tempest until the sea is still.
Which compulsion with this miniature death tributize?
From behind the walls of my broken coughing tent, a formal vision,
but I allude to my helpless passion for the obtuse
When will this night end?
When the lightening finally tears through the mast of our sinking ship.
All the hopes of the slaves are betrayed by the grates.
On this coffin of a vessel every note's another breaking wave.
Revel in this vision, a formal visitation, on the night with the light from above.
Famished dogs follow slowly as my own paws drag me to a dock,
to the last plank where I struggle to deny myself the path that every Pisces craves,
just above the water in the middle of that man-made lake.
On that pier I turn my eyes from the water like a mirror of myself in the moonlight,
and I cough for every crater that I could see,
on the surface of that coffin we've come to call the moon.
Now I wonder if all those judgments that you made were true.
And the trapdoor of the solstice is thrown wide, wide open.
Let them all sink, let them all sink through.
The talking, the spinning of a web- its all just formal ritual.
The burning.
The burning question "what do you deserve?"
The gazing at a candle to find calm, but we all know its at the center of the storm.
Oh moon, though pluckest me out, oh moon-
I who have sat by Thebes below the wall and walked among the lowest of the dead
(to Carthage then I came).
Only the most sacred crater will suit my burial,
only the most sacred choir performs this ritual dirge.
Perfectly imperfect, like a storm.
By our mane dragged and bound to our grave by our mane,
to the grave dragged and bound to the tomb by the scavenger's tooth.

Guns N' Roses - Dust N' Bones

He lost his mind today
He left it out back on the highway
On 65

She Loved Him Yesterday
Yesterday's over
I Said okay
That's all right
Time moves on
That's the way
We live an hope to see the next day
That's all right

Sometimes These Things They Are So Easy
Sometimes These Things They Are So Cold
Sometimes These Things Just Seem To Rip You Right In Two
Oh No Man Don't Let 'Em Get Ta You

She Loved Him Yesterday
He laid her sister
She Said O.K.
An that's all right
Buried her things today
Way back out deep
Behind the driveway
And that's all right

Sometimes These Women Are So Easy
Sometimes These Women Are So Cold
Sometimes These Women Seem To Rip You Right In Two
Only If You Let 'Em Get To You

Ya Get Out On Your Own
And You/Take All That You Own
And You/Forget About Your Home
An' You're/Just Fuckin' Gone

[SOLO]

There's No Logic Here Today
Do As You Got To, Go Your Own Way
I Said That's Right
Time's Short Your Life's Your Own
And In The End
We Are Just

DUST N' BONES
DUST N' BONES
DUST N' BONES

That's All Right
DUST N' BONES
That's All Right
DUST N' BONES
That's All Right

Darkane - Chase For Existence

[Lead: Ideberg]

The beauty of your escaping soul
Behold my true distress
Your naked mind is barely existing
I have dreams you could never imagine
Explore your forbidden defiance
See the realm of temptation
Knowing anger
Will betray me
Disconnected
From all feelings
The chase for my existence
Centuries has passed me by
Suffering has now a face
It'll free me from my future
You have your whole life behind you now
Depravity, is what you'll find
I am blind to the darkness in myself
No longer able to control my urges
You have to accept your destiny
Feel the lack of compassion
Knowing anger
Will betray me
Disconnected
From all feelings

[1st lead: Malmstrom]
[2nd lead: Ideberg]
[3rd lead: Malmstrom]

The beauty of your escaping soul
Behold my true distress
Your naked mind is barely existing
I have dreams you could never imagine
Explore your forbidden defiance
See the realm of temptation
Knowing anger
Will betray me
Disconnected
From all feelings
The chase for my existence
Centuries has passed me by
Suffering has now a face
It'll free me from my future

David Gray - Easy Way To Cry

Smoke curls through my hands
These one night stands
Are making me crazy I know
Morning I'll go
Crowds in the rain all passing by

Faith gone from your eyes
Each word that flies
Taking you further away
And come that day
There ain't no easy way to cry

And as I watch you leave I stand
Inside my house of straw
And everywhere I go I find
Things recollecting to my mind
How right it all could be

Faith gone from your eyes
Each word it flies
Straight to the heart and I know
Watching you go
There ain't no easy way to cry

So right now
So right now
So right now

And as I watch you leave I stand
Inside my house of straw
And everywhere I go I find
Things recollecting to my mind
How right it all could be
Could be

So right now
So right now
So right now
So right so right
So right

Firehouse - Unbelievable

Before we met I had my doubts
Didn?t know if love was real
An extraordinary situation never meant for me
Read about it, heard about it, saw it on TV
It all seemed so strange until you made a believer outta me

My dreams have come true
What did I do to deserve someone like you?
And it?s beyond my imagination, like I?ve won the lottery
What a winning combination and I can?t explain how much you mean to me

And its Unbelievable how much I love you
Its unbelievable, can?t believe how much I care
And it?s real I?m not imagining, but the very most amazing thing
Is when I hear you say you love me too
It?s unbelievable!

Like Lois Lane and Superman in a comic book romance
It?s a fascinating story, lovers who met just by chance
Superheroes and movie stars are such fantasy
It seems so unbelievable but their just like you and me

I was lucky to find you
We have an uncommon relationship its true
And its beyond my imagination, it defies reality
You?ve become my inspiration, and I can?t explain how much you mean to me

And its Unbelievable how much I love you
Its unbelievable, can?t believe how much I care
And it?s real I?m not imagining, but the very most amazing thing
Is when I hear you say you love me too
It?s unbelievable!
(Repeat Chorus: Key Change)

Unbelievable, Unbelievable, Unbelievable, It?s Unbelievable

Loikaemie - Fuer immer

f?r immer an meiner Seite

Oh ho ho, O ho ho
f?r immer, f?r immer an meiner Seite
Oh ho ho, O ho ho
f?r immer, f?r immer, f?r immer an meiner Seite

Meiko - Sleep

When I woke up this morning
you were so far away from me
And I knew it was a warning
of an empty space in between

Feeling free when I'm with you
But knowing I'm not far away from home
Now what am I supposed to do,
when the answers all come out wrong

And I need something to help me sleep
When I know you're not good for me
And I need something I can keep
From the empty space in between
From the empty space in between

You treated me like a goddess
When we were around everyone else
How come you couldn't notice me
When I was standing by myself

And I need something to help me sleep
When I know you're not good for me
And I need something I can keep
From the empty space in between
From the empty space in between

Something to help me, Something to help me, Something to help me to sleep

Something to help me, Something to help me, Something to help me to sleep
